Another great player from Western North Carolina on to the next level. Brooke Robinson from Erwin High School has committed to play ball for Coach Fred Gillum and the Pioneers of Tusculum College in Tennessee. She will be eligible to sign starting Wednesday. Congrats to Brooke, mom, dad and Cody! You guys worked hard and sacrificed and now its payback time....I know Coach Barry Lance at AC Reynolds(formerly of Erwin) is proud of his former player. Look for more Lance taught and coached players to turn up at the next level in the years to come.

    Make us proud Brooke...GO PIONEERS!:cheer:

Thanks for the congrats. We (her dad and I) are very proud of her. She found that school that not only will give her the education that she is looking for but will allow her to continue to play the game she loves. Coach Gillum and Coach Lynch are great, she can't wait to get there. P.S. Brooke played for the Smokey Mountain Flames (coached by Coach Lance)and last year she was with the Richocet.

    SOMETHING TO SHOOT FOR...

Brooke signed her N.L.I. this past week and my DD (Brooke's catcher) was in attendance. She came home and told me that moment gave her just that much more fuel to add to her intent to play softball at the next level. Kristin has caught Brooke for the last 6 years and will be on the field with Brooke when she finishes her high school career (Good Lord willing). What a great incentive (Signing Day) for future college level players to step up to. GO NORTH CAROLINA GIRLS (and our South Carolina sisters!) YOU ALL ROCK!!!! EVERY SINGLE LAST ONE OF YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
