    Well

It would take an exceptional talent with lots of nerve and tough skin to attempt this feat. I have not seen many capable of playing college baseball, forget professional.

    As if...

As if a woman would EVER be given the same fair objective look that a mean would get anyway! Don't even sit there and shake your head, no, we all know the truth! The truth is I feel that there are some women that could compete in professional baseball, but they would NEVER get a fair chance to prove it! They also would be treated like pure crap by the other guys! It would not be fun for any woman, so if one ever tries GOOD LUCK!
But you have my vote for even tryin!

    Rec Ball

My daughter plays rec baseball at this time. She has played one summer of 8U softball and enjoyed it. However, at this time, her choice is to continue to play baseball, as she loves the rec ball and having one weekday game and one weekend game.

heck when you do the #'s, it is rare for a male to make it to college baseball and extremely rare making it to the pro's!!

The numbers I have seen are 5% to make it to college and 1% to make it to a MLB team.

    Not matter what the odds...

Our son's have a much better "chance" to play professionally than our daughters, but the odds are real long...

The USA Olympic Softball team is the ultimate travel team..
You never age out... Making one of the pro teams, which carries 15-16 players... last year, 8 teams?? Do the numbers... 128 players plus
some independent teams.. Michigan Ice, Brakettes

As for our son's, the best players never go to college to play...
they get drafted after HS... hopefully they find a way to get a college degree..

So the odds for a female to make a MLB roster are pretty high...
There is no "Minor Leagues" unless you count our college teams...

What if the "boys" wanted to play fastpitch...
The ASA has active National championships in Boys 10U, 12U 14U 16U and 18U competition yearly...Most of the teams are from the midwest..

It is a slow fastpitch day....So I throw this out..

Should men be allowed to play in the Pro Fastpitch league?
What's that fairy tale... good for the Goose, Good for the Gander...

you're good at stewing the pot!....

....my brother. What i think you might left out of this scenario,...i.e., ...boys/girls in the fastpitch game is this. 1. Eventually the males will catch up to the pitching of the females and rock their world. E. G. The same thing that the holier than thou pitching circle of friends are now realizing that....YES, the good hitters, as in, the GOOD hitters, can now, possibly disrupt, outsmart, or outguess, their fight at the plate versus the pitcher and or her dad/pitch caller. I promise you this TBR, the method of a batter making a pitcher throw to them what they dictate is closer and more prominent than you think! Add to that mindset, the strength of a male, well ......lets try to keep sports gender directed. JMO.
