    just wondering if anyone has seen this kid play or ever heard of him thanks

    No, but why don't you tell us? We all like to hear about players that are new to us. That way we can follow them through the season.

    I believe I coached Wayne when he was 12 with the NC Baseball Academy. If I remember correctly he was a heck of a basketball player as well. I sure would like to see him play in HS this year. He was a stud at 12 , soft hands , quick , great hands at the plate. I have often wondered what happened to him. His dad was awesome. A great guy. Let me know if this is the same youngman I coached.

    wayne lewis 5'9 OF 08(vance high)
    Has great speed on the bases good arm strength and quick hands at the plate batt .412 2hr and 20stolen bases. If you ever get a chane to see this kid play you will notice he plays much bigger than he appears and im sure coach 27 can speak on that, i saw this kid hit an absolute bomb at central high school you knew it was gone as soon as he hit it, i would hate to see how much power this kid gets when he gets on the weights
