Impact Baseball Futures Game

I say Coach May needs an agent...and I know just the guy. Uncle Sal is terrific at negotiating. He seems to get his way somehow. I have never seen anybody tell him no.

But Stretchy, if Coach27 starts talking about "makeup"....Uncle Sal won't get involved..

 

The Future is Here to Stay

Did anyone watch the DVD of the Future's game? Any suggestions on what can be done better for TV next year. The tapes of these games might be important the day some of these boys make it to the pro's.

One thought is that maybe some of the college coaches could be interviewed before or during the game?

Impact will do it again

January 22nd -North Hurricanes Coache's Mike Covington, and Jeff Petty have been apointed by Impact Baseball's Andy Partin to coach Team Virginia in The Impact Baseball's 2nd Annual Futures Game on November 8th at High Point University. Canes General Manager Jeff Petty stated "We are proud to be able to provide this opportunity for the state of Virginia. The Impact Futures Game is an unbelievable opportunity for the high profile baseball player. It is a big stage, and I am going to try to make sure Virginia is represented well in this event." Mike Covington who has also been the North Virginia Commonwealth Games Head Coach for 15 years stated "The Impact Futures game is already an amazing event, and with the addition of the top players in Virginia to play vs the Top Players in NC, it truly has the mix to be something special. I am thrilled that Coach Partin is giving Virginia's finest athletes this opportunity." There will be a 2009 graduate and 2010 graduate team picked by Impact's Andy Partin, and Canes Coaches Mike Covington and Jeff Petty to represent the State of Virginia sometime next fall.

It will keep getting bigger every year. I can see this be part of ESPN in the future....or is that WTBR
