    Chipola college is looking for an athlete for Jan. 08. We are a junior college in Florida and defending national champs. If you know of one please email me at hendrixj@chipola.edu There is full scholarships availiable. Books, tuition, out of state fees, dorm on campus. Sophmore would be ideal situation but a freshman would work.

    This is amazing to me. Here is the defending National Champions posting a thread on TBR looking for a player and offering a Full scholarship. Yes, this is a softball thread, but the point is that a ton of schools read this site daily looking for names of kids they have overlooked or under the radar.

    To me it's astounding that a school would come on here and offer a free scholarship to a player and trust that this board could help....and it will.

    Okay...so how does this work on the baseball side of this forum? Instead of schools posting this as a topic, they contact certain people on here for information. It's the same premise...but without the 100% scholly

    People would be amazed

    if they only knew. It happens all the time but it is not public knowledge. Having the right people in your corner and letting them help you goes a long way. Trying to do it alone is a very lonely and frustrating experience for parents and especially players.

    Congratulations...

    Congratulations...to those who started this site. Helping kids is obviously a passion. It's nice to see the success stories and the process at work.
