The Hurricanes have a North Team and South Team. North is mostly Va. and Maryland players and South is primarily NC players.

    Outstanding

Coach Petty runs a great showcase team. Both of the teams were very talented and very well coached. They play alot and they play in alot of good venues. They have some outstanding players returning for next season and many of their kids were signed it not all that were 08's. They have established themselves as one of the elite showcase programs on the East Coast. I like the fact they have a north and south team. This way they have players from SC NC and then Maryland Virginia etc.

    MVP Baseball Showcase

This National Organization has and East Coast & West Coast Team. Teams are sometimes combined for national tournaments. Great exposure to college recruiters. A strong component of the program is college recruiting/placement. Some showcase teams select kids who are already college recruits (and list these recruits on their websites). MVP Baseball develops players and helps them achieve their college baseball goals. Harry Grumet and his staff work tirelessly to help the player find the right collegiate "fit" - not just a name on a roster but an opportunity to actually PLAY college baseball. The East Coast team is coached by Raleigh's Jim Cobb. For more information, visit www.mvpbaseball.net.
