    Heat Showcase Baseball "ORGANIZATION"

Hey Fabreze, Heat Showcase Baseball is an "organization" that has teams that are 12U, 13U, 14U, 2011 (Fresh), 2010 (Soph) and 2009 (Jr) and had the 2008 (Sr) this past Summer and Fall. The younger teams play under the "Heat Showcase" name and play in tournaments other than "Showcase, Perfect Game, Impact, etc." because those events are directed towards High School soph/Jr./Sr. The 2011 (fresh) team started under the Heat Showcase name this year and had a schedule out before the season began, the players and parents knew that schedule before they joined the team.

Just because we are trying to have a successful "Organization" doesnt mean that all of the teams named "Heat Showcase Baseball" can play in showcase events.

My son plays for a different organization, and as recently as this fall his team competed against the 08, 09 and 10 HeatShowcase teams. I have always found their teams to be comprised of quality players with quality coaches and parents.

I think that most people know what is expected out of a team that from the year would be about 14 to 15 years old. I am also sure that it would not be any fun or would educate the players to face 17 and 18 year olds. I would suggest that maybe you address the schedule with the manager or whoever schedules the events. I can tell you this. If you enter a touney weeks in advance you do not know who you will be playing. Also, maybe look at out of state events. Work to a solution. The Heat is a great org. ran by a great group. Or as a wise old coach told me. If you are not happy go get your own team. It is not that hard!!!!

    clarification

i was not referring to the 17's 18's or 19's. the context has been completely turned around as to my comment. the younger team played in many usssa tourneys adding some as they went along. every tournament that they played in at that level the scores were blowouts to the other teams that were trying to play on their own levels. many were disgruntled with the lack of the bigger competition they were promised at the start of the season. some players played for "free" not paying as the other team members had to.
as for myself I have a fine coach for my son and plan on staying there, don't need to find another team, very happy with our organization where we play, have fun, and enjoy each others company on the weekends. that is the most important aspect of any travel team. LEARN, HAVE FUN, AND BE COMPETITIVE. :elf:

I believe it would be better for all concern to address this privately.

    Thank you in advance

No problem. It's that there are folks that may have had a bad experience, but it is not an indictment on the organization. I believe if someone has a problem with an organization it is best explained through a PM vs on the open forum.

what happened to stating your opinion?

gees braves this got way out of hand, and like i said before all postings by myself to this matter were taken out of context and turned around. I guess since i made everyone mad with an opinion that they obivously didn't like i will quit trying to say anything on tbr. thought it was a place to state opinions, i guess not --- i apologize but i didn't say it to be mean, and these people must have had a very bad day. sorry sorry.
