    All around effort of the patriots.freedom jumped out to a 28-0 lead before forestview scored a point and held them without a field goal in the first quarter.

    ACR lost to TCR 87-76, but there is no reason ACR shouldn't have won this game. ACR led by 9 at half, and by 11 with 5 minutes to go in the 3rd, but took some shots they shouldn't have and turned the ball over too much down the stretch. DJ Clement (36 points with 7 three pointers) needs to touch the ball every time down the floor but doesn't, and Edge Warren (17 points) could be dominating in the middle given the ball more. I was pleased with the teams talent, but just a young team (2 sophomores start, including at PG).

    watauga beat avery last night, but right now you dont know what team is going to show up,played good last night,but did not play so good at ashe and,played good for all but the last 4 mins at west caldwell lost by 3

    I think the score last night was 61-31 in favor of the Titans. It was a physical game which suited Mitchell very well but too much talent for McDowell to allow the upset.

    congrats to cougars.....

    getting ryan hargrave back is huge for alexander central. they lost too many close games without him last year. hey, how did the alexander girls do last night against st. stephens? not a bad start at 2-2.
