    The Men's Rounds Bracket
    First Round and and Semi-Final games played at Hickory High School
    Championship, 3rd place and 5th place games played at CVCC

    Thursday Dec. 27th at Hickory High

    Alexander Central vs. St. Stephens 4:30 pm St. Stephens Won
    Hickory vs. Maiden 6:00 pm Hickory Won
    Bunker Hill vs. Bandys 7:30 pm Bandys Won
    Newton Conover vs. Fred T Foard 9:00 pm Foard Won



    Friday Dec 28th at Hickory High

    ACHS vs. Bunker Hill 4:30 pm ACHS Won
    Maiden vs. Fred T. Foard 6:00 pm Foard Won

    St. Stephens vs. Bandys 7:30 pm
    Hickory vs. Newton Conover 9:00 pm


    Saturday Dec 29 at CVCC

    ACHS vs. Fred T. Foard 5th place game 2:30 pm
    3rd place game 5:30 pm
    Championship game 8:30 pm

    Look for either Alexander Central or Hickory to win it. They have already played twice and split.

    St.Stephens is a tough draw for AC in the first round. They have played AC close both games and it is always tough to beat a team three times.

    are you serious...the first time was close...but the second time wasnt even as close as the scoreboard said...and ac still won by nearly twenty...look for it to be ac and hickory in the championship game...

    ACHS- 50


    The cougars did not play very well today at all.

    ACHS was down 2 with about 20 seconds left and Justin Mayberry nailed at three to put ACHS up by 1 with 15 seconds left, then Saint came down and a kid hit a touch 12-14 foot jumper with hands in his face and drilled it to put Saint up 1. ACHS then came down and couldnt connect on anything.



    In the other mens games,
    Hickory destroyed Maiden 84-26 i believe it was
    Bandys beat Bunker Hill

    Newton-Conover and Foard- Didnt hear a final

    alexander central....

    how did the cougars do against bunker hill. and correct me if i'm wrong, but two losses at catawba valley and you're out. is that right? thanks for the help.

    ACHS beat Bunker Hill 55-45

    The Cougars still looked a bit sluggish but were able to pull out at win.
    Ryan Hargrave lead ACHS with 19 points
    Justin Mayberry added 15
    Billy Fisher had 11

    And yes the Catawba Valley Classic is double elimination
