    I know that winning today were Lexington over Crest and Boiling Springs over RS Central. I don't know the results of the other games. Can someone post the Thursday schedule?

    First Charter Holiday Classic Basketball Tournament

    Games to be played today, Dec 27th, in the old and new gyms at East Lincoln High School. Admission will be $7 per day. Tournament passes good for all games, including the championship games, are available for $18. Tournament passes allow unrestricted leave and return and will be available at East Lincoln High School the first day of the tournament.

    GIRLS

    • Forestview/Mooresville: 2:30 p.m. new gym.

    • Southlake Christian/Providence: 2:30 p.m., old gym.

    • East Gaston/Hopewell: 4 p.m., new gym.

    • South Caldwell/East Lincoln: 7 p.m., new gym.

    Butler Bulldogs

    Butler loses to Bishop McGuinness by a score of 67-55. Bishop McGuinness played an excellent game with fairly balanced scoring, along with a 1 - 3 - 1 half court trap.

    Butler was cold from the floor and had difficulty breaking the trap.

    Freedom vs West Charlotte

    Freedom loses to West Charlotte by a score of 78-49. Freedom had no answer for the transistion game of West Charlotte, along with the low post scoring and passing game of West Charlotte. Ford scored approximately 23 points. The athleticism of West Charlotte is incredible!

    Butler and Freedom play tomorrow.

    I didn't get to the game but heard SC over East Lincoln by 16. I think it was 65-49. SC plays a very tough East Gaston team tomarrow at 4:00.

    West Charlotte is legit! 10pt game at the half was quickly increased by our poor execution and their good shooting and defense.
