    Too bad they had to use the refs in order to win the game.. at least our girls know the games they've won have been because of talent and lots of hard work not one sided refs.

    Will you please shut up...geez!!!

    How about the 10 missed free throws in the first half (seven in the 1st quarter alone)? McDowell was 24-38 from the line.

    How about the 27 committed turnovers, with a fair number of them unforced?

    Lets get those things corrected and we wouldn't be here tonight talking about the refs.


    Roberson played a good game and we, due to the poor 1st quarter, was in "catchup" mode the entire evening.

    Our AD Coach Ford and the Athletic Department did a great job, I think the total number was very close to 450 tickets sold. We took 3 activity busses down full of kids and plenty of parents and fans also came down.

    Game wise, not bad, they played better than the scrimmage, just not a lot to go with the Gross kid. We only led 26-10 at half, so we played and shot it much better in the 2nd half. Every kid played in both halves and almost all played in every quarter.

    We'll post complete stats and hopefully pics tomorrow if I can figure it out.

    All the hype about this team progressing seems to be just that hype...was at the game. Can't say what the coach is thinking but when three of the five starters don't score one point, logic says you must look at your bench again.

    I based my predictions for this game on what I had read the Alexander people post on this board. That is why I predicted they would score 42 points. If you was at the game you know McDowell didn't even run a full court press against ACHS. Maybe the lady cougars had an off night. I hope so otherwise it will be a long season for them.
