    Successor to Lynch

Now that ASU is off the field and on the recruiting trail, is it possible that ASU would sign Eric and he would step right into the starting safety position vacated by one Corey Lynch? I heard Jerry Moore comment on radio that ASU is interested, but they don't let everyone know who they are interested in early on. He said Eric and his family were aware of the way ASU went about recruiting since EB's older brother is a member of the current App team. Remember also, for the last three years our coaches and representatives have been busy winning championships way up into December. The NC/SC Shrine Bowl falls on the same week as the Chattanooga Championship week as well. I have heard that Eric is not that interested in App due to the lack of a medical field which he wants to enter to study. Kinda refreshing isn't it?...someone actually picking a college to go play ball and letting their future plans have some say in it. It will be interesting to see where he lands and I hope it's exactly where he wants to go. Not where we(fans) want him to go, or where his friends want him to go or where even his parents want him to go....but where Eric wants to go. He desreves that choice.

just heard he decided on Wofford. They are going to make him a running back where I've heard others including ASU were going to make him a safety.

Just joined after learning this young man has chosen my alma mater. It seems certain he could have played at the I-A level. Things are looking bright for my little school. We had a freshman QB transfer from Navy a while back. I guess being in the Southern Conference helps with recruiting.

    Glad to be here.

(BTW, is this board primarily NC oriented)?

Wofford has gotten themselves a winner. I have nothing but good things to say about EB. A rare talent and a very humble and classy individual from all I have seen. I know that in 2006 after Alexander Central drubbed Watauga and held EB to less than 70 yards he was very classy to the Alexander Central players and coaches after the game. He got our ass back though this past season, in fact he got us twice. I think I speak for most of Cougar nation is wishing Eric the best, Wofford has gotten a player.

Buggy is going the Juco route. I don't think he has made his mind up yet, but basically every Juco in America has offered.

Congrats to Eric and his family. What a great young man. Wofford got a very good person and football player. Will Eric be playing baseball this Spring?
