    Congrats

to R. Shaffer and his family on a great accomplishment. I had the pleasure to watch him play a few times this summer and fall. It was obvious that he was a very talented young man. Great program in a great conference and a great opportunity for Richie. Congrats and good luck this hs season.

    Why thank you Southern!

Richie is an extremely talented player and is an equally nice young man. The 1st time I had a chance to see him play, he hit 3 HR's with the 3rd one a walkoff in extra innings to beat their biggest rival.

With all the great things that have been said about Richie, he has not let it affect him in anyway. He plays the game hard in practice or in a game.

    He is special!
