one of the most inspiring stories ive ever read... my family has been in and out of contact with this coach Pawlowski in the past couple of weeks. Coach Leggett called me a while back and told me about this great guy and asked if I could help in anyway. I told him I would be more then happy to so he tried calling and we have actually been playing a little phone tag with him lately. Coach if you see this keep calling and we will keep returning and keep pounding. Our prayers are with your daughter. When we do finally get in touch I hope to be able to talk to you some. But from what coach Leggett has told me this man is a great guy and doesnt deserve this as no one does. But we are all better because of people in the world like this. I know Coach Leggett thinks nothing but the best of him and I pray they have ease through this struggle. Coach P if you see this know we are here for you and call the house anytime. You can get the number from Coach Leggett or get my cell and we will come out there anytime. Keep pounding. Coach Leggett love you and thanks for telling us about this great guy.

    Love and Hope

In an effort to express his love and hope, Pawlowski wears a plastic wrist-band that says, "We R Praying For MLP."

    It's purple, Mary-Louise's favorite color.

"I handed them out to our players the first day of practice," Pawlowski said. "It's a small thing, but it's something we can do for her."

Since then he's had to order more wrist-bands as more and more people ask for them. The best way to get one is call the Cougars baseball office at (843) 953-5916.

This is a great way to show support for Coach and his daughter.

Wow - my thoughts and prayers go out to this family. As we are dealing with cancer in our immediate family, it's an understatement to say how devastating this disease is.

But, we pray and continue to have faith, and seek answers -

Our best to you and your daughter, Coach Pawlowski.

I can't imagine the pain of having your child be diagnosed with cancer and on top of it...not being there every day to be with her.

    Prayers for the whole family!

    Prayer is powerful

Im not sure why things happen. I do know they are part of God plans. For instance take into account how many people read this story. Then some of them tell this story to others. In some remarkable way God touches many. This is IMO one of his ways.

Thank you for sharing this story. We are saying prayers for this family.

I said before that I really do believe anything is possible. Hang in there kid!

    God Bless
