Pfeiffer gets a sweep against L-R winning both games of a double header Saturday. Jonathan McDaniel got the win in the first game of the Saturday with Freshman Adam Sedberry getting the save. Final score was 7-4.

In the second game Sedberry gets the win pitching 2 scoreless innings in the 7th and 8th to pick up the win. Final score, 4-3

Sunday Pfeiffer put many hits together early and broke out to a 6-1 lead and held off a L-R charge late for a 6-4 win.

Good start for a young Pfeiffer team.

The "Will Davis Show". I was happy to see Will have a great series...but couldn't he have waited until next week?

I was impressed with many of the Pfeiffer players starting with McDaniel. He is very impressive. I've always liked Shoemaker(sp). He will have an outstanding career. And then Andy Oliver came in to close the door on Sunday. Wow...what a great start for the Falcons!!!!!

For Da Bears, Anthony Sully was impressive with the bat, but hitting is definitely not LR's strength, yet, and the defense needs to get stronger. Starters Chris Henderson and Greg Conrad pitched well enough to win on Saturday, and Sean Madden made an outstanding debut.

But Pfeiffer showed a lot of heart coming back in both games on Saturday and dominated on Sunday. Good luck to the Falcons the rest of their season.

If the #'s I saw were right, looked like Da Bear's catcher had a good series. 4 for 11 and caught all 3 games.:hurray: Is the Bravesmobile comming to Hickory wednesday?

Yeah, Dice did very well. The Bravesmobile was planning on coming, but it won't work when it's raining and I heard it is going to pour.

Between Catawba and Pfeiffer a Salisbury baseball fan doesn't have to drive far to see a good game.

Congrats to Brian. I'm glad he found a place to play. He certainly wasn't given much of a chance at WCU.
