2010 Perfect Game Top 200

Its early and the data base on the 2010 class is just starting to be developed. The players ranked will grow to around 1,500 before its over. And the rankings will change alot over the next couple of years. But as of right now there are 9 NC 2010 players ranked by Perfect Game Crosschecker in the top 200.

I looked at the list and was able to find video on one of our NC standout 2010 pitchers mentioned by CrossChecker from Cornelius, NC....Take a look, can anyone out there give me some additional information on this kid. Great mechanics, tremendous projectablility.

My son is this kid's battery mate with the Heat showcase team. My son says he is consistently around the zone, has a good 2 seam fastball that runs and a GREAT changeup. Can throw the changeup in 2-0 counts and get weak grounders. Knows how to compete and knows how to get outs. Good composure in tight spots. And he's a good kid.

 

I saw Hunter throw 3 games last HS season for Hopewell, he was very impressive at that time and from the looks of the video he’s gotten much bigger. He has been well trained in the art of pitching and has tremendous pitch command. His FB has crazy movement and plus plus velocity. His CU has late sink and he is not afraid to throw it at anytime in the count. He throws a slider with good action to keep the batters honest. Low effort delivery, long extended release and throws down hill. I thought at that time and still do today that he is one to keep very close tabs on. If he can stay healthy and focused the skies the limit, hope this helps.
