I would say they are pretty close. We have some big crowds for baseball. If it were comparing just boys to boys. Baseball would be way ahead. We do get several fans for girls basketball but about half the people leave after the girls game. Last year was an exception I know but we had over 3000 at a couple of the baseball playoff games. I would guess aroung 500 for regular games. Nothing offical that is just my guess

    ACHS- 61
    Watauga- 48

    ACHS Scoring
    Jonathan Dockery- 15 points
    Daniel Rauscher- 13 points
Justin Mayberry- 12 points 6 rebounds
    Ethan Ford- 10 points
Ryan Hargrave- 9 points 12 rebounds
    Thomas Ferguson- 2 points

    Watauga Scoring
    Jeff Newell- 13 points
    Will Watson- 8 points
    Chad Eppley- 7 points
    David Issacs- 7 points
    Alan Herndon- 6 points
    Zach Greene- 6 points
    Ian Dale- 1 point

This was a very physical game and was starting to get a little out of hand down the stretch. ACHS was able to survive Watauga's run to start the second half as ACHS lead the 31-15 at the half. Watauga came out hot to start the 2nd half. The Pioneers were able to cut the lead to 3 at one point but couldnt get any closer. Watauga would make a big shot and seemingly have the momentum starting to go their way then ACHS would nail a shot to steal it right back. The story of the game is Jonathan Dockery, he played the best game of his career, scoring 15 points and holding the sharp shooting Zach Greene of Watauga to only 6 points.

    NICE

So its AC vs EB an Freedom vs Mcdowell?

Well Mcdowell needs to feed Petey early often an asap...maybe kincaid can contain kincaid meaning buggy on ethan..

Ac needs a big game from hargrave your star always needs to carry you in games like this.

    should be great games..

Alexander Central beat East Burke in the NW4A Semi-final. The final was something like 53-48 but don't hold me to the score.

It will be an all McDowell final At Freedom Friday night.

The Titans took it to Freedom on their home floor tonight. I've always said it's hard to beat a good team 3 times in 1 season.

The Lady Titans will have their work cut out for them Friday night. It should be a good one. Look for a huge crowd from McDowell. :REDanceBanana008:

Bet not too many people predicted an AC v. McDowell final, especially after seeing how the brackets broke.
