Head Protection for Pitchers and Infielders

When my dd was 12 i saw a girl in burlington get her teeth knocked out on the mound, the next week i bought the game face and she has worn it ever since. she played 14,16,and 18u last year and wore it every game and i hope she always does. Better safe than sorry

 

Thats good enough for me. I thank each of you. I will continue to make her wear the game face. I had not seen an older player use these masks. I just don't want to hurt DD chances when coaches are looking. I know she is still very young but I want to keep her on the right path. It won't be too many more years. Time does fly by, when you have as much fun as we do. Love the game.

 

Injuries happen more often that we actually hear about and they can happen at any age or skill level. I'm seeing more and more high school age pitchers/infielders wear protection.
