    Scores

Lenoir CC is 6-3 so far. The three losses were against Spartanburg-Methodist. They won 1 and lost 3 in a 4 game weekend in Spartanburg to open the season.
Drew Sowers, sophomore righty, threw a 1 hitter shutout 10-0 in 5 innings against Spartanburg Methodist on opening weekend and was also recently named a Pre-Season All-American as well as teammate Ryan Norton, who is also off to a great start, neither have committed to a four year program yet.

Yep, King is the name. Aaron King. Tough lefty from what I hear. Might have a lot of pro interest late in the year.

As for Pitt, game one was Jake Brown, game 2 Chip Wall, game 3 Pete Levitt (but Zach Woodley got the loss) and game 4 was a committe approach with Michael Brogan, Corey Carver and Lonnie Chisenhall all throwing.

On a related note about what I wrote earlier, Poulk never played at Pitt. It was just message board rumor that he transferred there.

    setting the record straight....

Poulk is playing for SPC in Florida and considered only transferring into a juco in that state. He has always enjoyed going to Florida and when the opportunity came for him to relocate to play ball, that is where he chose to go. He never enrolled at Pitt CC or was a member of the baseball team there for him to leave it.
Speculations, assumptions or hearsay lead to wrong information getting spread and posted.

I wasn't meaning he did something wrong, but actually hearsay is what made me think he was at Pitt. It was posted on here a while back I think, when they were talking of him leaving UNC and Chisenhall going to Pitt. Besides, kids transfer all the time. But I apologize if I mislead or upset anyone. Didn't mean a thing by it other than I was simply wondering where the kid was playing.
