    Great game today to start the season off at home in Newton. Bessemer City put up a great fight going the distance but falling short to NC in the last inning 7-6. NC was lead by Junior Evanna Robinson(3-4), Senior Taylor Buchannan(2-4), and freshman Chelsea Cullars going 3-4 with the game winning shot off the left field fence for a stand up triple to score the go ahead run. (PROPS to Cheese!!!!!!):satana:

    Evanna Robinson was the winning pitcher for NC (10? K's)and looked strong on the mound despite being sick. NC started all four freshman today in hopes of building a program.

    *NC has won more in preseason play than the last three years combined*

    Where was Bessember City

    North Gaston High School was ready to play Bess City Today ( 02/ 26/o8) Umpires there North Gaston Fans ready. What Happened to
    Bessember City. Somebody screwed up !!

    heard about this from umpire tonight, said it wasnt on the bc schedule, to be made up at a later date (that means after basketball is over i guess).....

    Check this out.....

    I was told we play them again today 4pm at BC. That's twice Saturday(for some reason), Monday at NC, and today 4pm at BC.:stooges:

    We will have a real eye opener next week when we start conference against Bunker Hill and Maiden.
