    how did freedom do against brevard on monday? the pats are young and they're struggling right now. thanks in advance.

    Craig is not going to Northern or playing baseball this year. It's a shame a great player and great young man. I hope things go well for him in the future.

    In a game that had more walks, hit batters, errors and wild pitches than HITS the Gryphons were able to erase a surprising 4-0 deficit to get a win.

    As usual Brain Goodwin had a couple of laser shots, Grant Johnson had another mutlitple hit game and Chris Berry got the win in relief while Dillon Cockrell got the save.

    A bright spot on a overcast day was Freshman pitcher Benton Moss who started for Rocky Mount and went 3 1/3 innings allowing no hits.

    Goodwin in first relief could not really find the plate so Washington benefited from a few free runs on walks and hit batters and one good hit.
