    Area III Conference Schedule was mailed.

    I see that Troy & Yadkin County are back this year. They are in the Northern Div. Teams in the Northern Division Listed below:

    Burlington
    E. Randolph
    Kernersville
    High Point
    Randolph County
    Rockingham County
    Surry County
    Troy
    Western Forsyth
    Winston-Salem
    Yadkin County

    why does the legion board continue to add these teams that are terrible or drop out and come back?

    Got a call today & Yadkin County is not having a team, never planned too, just a mistake. Now they have to do the schedules all over again.

    Besides Yadkin being very weak, just wondering what makes this good? Not trying to start a pi**ing contest, just wondering? So please don't take it there.

    Glad to see they moved Troy to the Northern Division,,, it was a long drive from most Southern Division rivals when they were in the South,,, Im certainly no expert on the map or locations, but always figured Troy was a lot closer to Asheboro and teams in that area, rather than Southern Division teams. Hopefully this helps Troy a lot.

    Area III Southern Division teams...

    Looks like the Southern teams this year are the same as in recent years minus Troy (who went to the Northern Division)...

    Kannapolis
    Lexington
    Mocksville
    Mooresville
    North Wilkesboro
    South Rowan
    Statesville
    Rowan County

    Playing each other twice makes for an 18 game regular season.
