    AK Freshman

Quite a few good freshmen at Ardrey Kell. Logan Ratlidge, Chris McCue, Collin Keefer and Brett Lang to name a few. Doing a great job. Ratlidge is doing a great job at SS, McCue is fast, Keefer is middle infield in the Jonnie Acker mold and Lang is going to be a big strong banger. Really good upper classmen that do not allow them to move up. The program is in good hands with these kids

    North Meck Freshman

North Meck JV freshman Nate Cooper hit a solo homerun tonight for his first high school hit, which proved to be the game winning rbi as North Meck defeated Central Cabarrus 7 - 6. North Meck's strong varsity squad doesn't leave any room for any freshman.

    Person RHP Dylan Dickens

Person High is fortunate to have a young RHP that shows a lot of promise. He is a big kid with a strong arm, and practically a submarine delivery. This is his natural arm slot, not a conversion.

Currently he is 2-0 for the Rockets so far with 14 K's and 5 BB in 12 IP, both outings between 80-90 pitches. He pitched really well today against South Granville and I believe he will be a good one in the future.

    Heat Showcasebaseball freshman

You guy's have mention a lot of standout freshman that will be playing for the Heat this summer. There are lot more standouts who play for the Heat 2011 Team. Here is the roster of the 2011 team for the summer. These kids are very talented and one of the best team I've ever had as a freshman group.

    Yep. One to Watch!

Lang is from "good stock." Dad was a collegiate player. The kid is big and strong and swings it. He's a pretty typical Catcher and Corner Guy. Good arm strength too.
