rudy did not show me alot in the game at watauga,as for as watauga not being as good without eric, well we have some very good players coming in next year, the qb is better than adam or blake, the wr are going to be very good,as for as the running game martin, and the qb will get the same kind of yard it will just be 2-3 kids doing it.on defence we played alot of young kids last year and will be better or no worst than last years.kicking game i am not sure about it.but on offence and defence we will be fine.eric did not do everything almost yes, but it will be fun showing what watauga will do without eric.

The only reason harper dont play but one way is because there arent that many kids that are atletic enough. If some kids step up and work hard during the summer, he may put some on both offense and defence.

Also you have a fresher team as a whole, the standout athletes will play both ways.

well i must say that last season when he started this...all his athletes were not on the field at all times...i feel if they had been that ac could have won 7-9 games that season not just 4...im sorry but in high school you have to play the best 11 to have success...and that didnt happen last season and thats what hurt them...its not going to change...his favs will play both ways just as last season...and he will get the same results...

Time will tell.. I think they have more coming back up front, they're hurting at the skill position offensively. But they do return 9 of 11 on the defensive side of the ball. They should have more success this year than last year. Probably will be a more ball control team this year as well.

yes i thnk harper really hurt ac last year there were 5-6 guys including some lineman who should have gone both ways..they had a decent chance of winning 8 ball games if that would have happened....oh well we'll see what happens..

I read in hickory paper today that he has committed to Clemson to play football. I would imagine he got a full ride and will either play fullback or linebacker. Maybe someone from EB can speak more on this.

I don't what team you were watching but it was somebody other than the Cougars. The team won 4 games and 5 wins was the absolute maximum for the team. They played hard and did the best they could. That is all.

This guy is 250 to 260 in high school. He will put on another 20 pounds down there. He will probably wind up as a linemen.

To me the verdict is still out on Shatley. No doubt he is a heck of a player and an athlete but where he plays on the field at the next level may still be up for grabs. I thought at the end of the football season that he was a sure lock to play fullback at a 1-AA school. To see that he did a verbal with Clemson was a bit more than I expected. He is very agile and can just flat out run over people. The one thing I saw recently that was a bit of a concern was his 4.75 on the 40.

Interesting enough, at the recent Shrine Bowl Combine at Butler High School, Shatley was listed as a tight end.
