    Lone point scored on single by freshman Carolina Womble (Cape Fear Storms), a double by freshman Sierra Holmes (Triad Power 16u) moving Womble to 3B, with Womble brought home on a single by junior Sarah Thomas.

    Western's bats were hot tonight, although the score wouldn't show it. Team put the ball into play 21 of their 27 at bats.

    SS on Union Pines, A. Nunnaley, has a hot glove! Some incredible playing by her tonight.

    Good game by both teams. Watauga with a couple of errors early staked Freedom a lead and Hasson made sure the Pioneers didn't get on the board.
