East, coming of such a well played game against Weddington, opened the door in the first inning by committing four errors. Vikings were more than willing to exploit the miscues turning them into five runs.

Sean Pope was very effective moving the ball in and out giving up a lone single to Eddie McGrath. He made the pitches needed to get himself out of a base load, no out jam after the Eagles had cut the lead to 5-2 in the third.

Cody Buch delivered the game ender, a two run shot to left center.

North improves to 6-0 while East falls to 1-5.

Providence, the sleeping giant, is beginning to stir.

Looks like Corey could have used a little more help today.

    West defeats AC 5-3

West traveled to Alexander Central and came away with a 5-3 victory. West started early with Garrison Lassiter leading off with a hit, stole second, and was driven by Jonathan Holt's single. James Tedder hit a solo home run to make it 2-0. Holt's sac fly makes it 3-0. Lassiter went 1-1 with 3 walks, Tyler Alberts had 2 hits, and JHolt went 1-3 with 2 rbi's. Alex Robertson, Adam Griffin, Dustin Myers and Nic Wise combine to shut down the AC attack. West travels to Northwest Guilford Wednesday.
