    First round Saturday:
    Cape Fear 4-Scotland 2
    Pine Forest 6-Northern Vance 3
    Southview 10-Jordan Matthews 8
    East Bladen 8-Douglas Byrd 5

    Games continue on Monday and Tuesday

    Monday's results

    Scotland 9-Jordan Matthews 7
    Douglas Byrd 5-North Vance 1
    Southview 8-Cape Fear 6
    Pine Forest 12-East Bladen 0

    I know that Pine Forest and Southview are playing for the championship on Tuesday at 7:00 pm.

    South View wins the championship. Matt Keese pitched 6 strong innings keeping the tigers off balance the whole night! But tired in the 7th, I think the coach left him in a little bit 2 long. South Views bats came alive in the 7th after struggling ALL NIGHT LONG! Excellent game!:N1yeeaah:

    I agree.

    Matt pitched a great game and had the defense behind him to make the plays.
    All in all it was a great game...not the outcome that I would have liked to see, but it does show that you never give up.
