Caleb Shelton to NC A&T

    Western Guilford Caleb Shelton signs with NC A&T

    Western Guilford pitcher Caleb Shelton signed a letter of intent to play for the NC A&T Aggies over the weekend. Caleb joined the Megastars Nation last summer and fall season. He was a 2006-2007 ALL-Confernce selection in Class 3-A, Triad Conference. Caleb hit .472 , .574 Slugging %, .595 OB %, 10 RBI's , 7 RUNS, 5 2B. He is a fierce competitor and works ahead of hitters. We are very proud to have such a great young man join the Nation.


    NOTE: As a rising junior Caleb pitched for the Stretchlon Stars and baffled hitters. He is a tough lefthanded pitcher.

    Congratulations, Caleb! Great kid and fierce competitor. Also has wonderful parents.

    Any more info on this kid? My son is going to playat A&T next year and wanted some info on his new teammate.

    What can he do on the baseball field? And does he play hard that so important lol

    Caleb Shelton is a winner, elevating those around him to play harder, a fierce competitor. He played last Summer-Fall with the Charlotte MegaStars, a showcase team coached by former Boston Red Sox, Jeff McNeely. Primarily used as a left-handed pitcher, he posted a 7-1 record, 47 innings, 29K's, 12 BB;s, ERA approx. 1.85 Although not a big man in physical size, he has some of the best hands defensively at 1st base that I've ever seen. Average hitter, this high school season, hitting approx. .400......Extremely excited to be going to NC A&T next Fall.

    Spunds like a great pick up! My son sounds real excited to play with him! He also played for the stars a few years back but played with the copperheads last summer becauseof the financial help lol
