I had the leadoff girl (Lewis) scoring regardless, i think the difference in the 2 views was the second batter. When Spain hit the ball to Sealey at shortstop some ruled it as a hit some ruled as an error. I think without the error (if it was ruled as one) the inning doesnt happen the same way but the runner scores anyway and if that happens the run is earned. Also everything I can find says that if the runner reaches base on a base on balls the run shall be charged as earned and since no errors were charged in the final inning I dont see any debate there.

    my mistake.

difference of opinion is all it is, from the mound it can be perceived differently. i saw the ball at second being more along the lines of an error and exactly what carson said above, that the missed ball by short in my thoughts would have prevented the run. although i dont think its a big deal, the game was still won by hopewell and we were kept scoreless. christina had dominant pitching and we couldnt exactly keep up. so in the end it makes no difference. sorry for the confusion, next time i'll triple check.

Great game by two good teams, a few questionable calls and decisions i saw out there tonite, i thought both pitchers were pretty even and both had double digit K's, the hitting was pretty even, NM played a flawless game though in the field and that was the difference. This makes a tight race in the MECA 7 with Central defeating Hopewell, and North defeating Central and yet to play Hopewell that should be a good game, then Central hosts North Meck again next week looking foward to that rematch, also would have been nice to see Mo Peeler on the mound hope she recovers soon from her injury and gets back as soon as possible.

Im not sure but i think it has something to do with the tendons in her glove hand, she will be back hopefully in a few weeks. Maybe nut can tell you exactly what the injury is.

Was it the push bunt by the number 4 batter in the tenth inning with a runner on first and one out that your talking about?

This is one of a few questionable decisions that i did not understand.

Didn't know I had a better half. Yes, I believe that was the play. Honey, how about making me some Chicken and Dumplings tomorrow night for supper.

Yea, matter of fact i could open us up a couple cans of Dinty Moore.

Homemade only! No can food. I want a divorce.

That is it I am done with you!!

He doesn't like our hot dogs.

    Need Mo for offense.

Sounds like pitching was not the issue for Central in this game. I know it would be nice to have Mo toeing the rubber for any game, but looks like Central needed her more for her bat in this game than anything. What happened to the offense?
