    Our local High School wants to start a summer basketball team with only players from our High School, no outside players, just trying to build a better program. Our Adminstration however will not let us use the gym without paying rent. Can anyone here that plays summer/travel basketball tell me if thats what you are doing or will they let you use the school gym for free since it is made up of all in county players

    I play for the Watauga Storm this year we are playing 18/U...last year we had a great season and won a couple championships and came in 2nd and 3rd in most tourneys in USSSA...we ALL go to Watauga...usually we practice at the middle school gyms and they let us play for free...we have practiced at the high school once or twice though! Good luck...hope you can have a successful season with strictly your area players like us! I think it builds a great bond! Hope it works out to HELP you in high school ball!
