    St. Stephens 1 Hickory 0

WP - Jason McEachern (6-0) - CG, 12 K, 1 BB, 1 HBP, 0 hits (the paper had him for 2, but both were clear errors in my opinion)

    LP - Darren Willis - CG - 2 hits, 9 K, 3 BB, 1 unearned run

    Saint Hitters

Parker Kersey - 1-3, single, run scored
    Eric Shaver - 1-3, double

Jason McEachern shutout Hickory for the 3rd time this season. Combined he has given up 0 runs on 7 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 37 batters.

Darren Willis took the hard luck loss for the Tornadoes. He kept the Indians off balance all night with good offspeed stuff and only allowed one runner past 1st base before the decisive 6th Inning.

Saint got a 2 out single from Parker Kersey followed by a walk to Patrick Jenkins. Andrew Benton hit a hard ball down the 3rd baseline that was too tough for the 3rd baseman to handle, which allowed Kersey to score from 2nd.

Great ball game between the crosstown rivals for the 3rd time this season.

Saint (10-4, 8-2 CVAC) travels to Bunker Hill tonight at 7 pm.

    Very Good Game

Equally impressive arm strength of your shortstop, I have never seen anyone throw a batting helmet that far, it had to be 18-20 ft up into the tree. If he does that at tigerland next week he might hit a horse:beatdeadhorse5:
