HICKORY RIDGE & ROBINSON

I thought HR was suppose to meet Robinson in a non conference match up today & then I hear Robinson was playing Central. What's up with that & does anybody have any details on the outcome of the game? Tumbleweeds

Robinson is 4-3 in conference behind Central, North Meck and Hopewell.

BTW, just curious I've heard how Central lost some good players to Hickory Ridge, so how was Robinson effected in the split? Who are some of the stars @ Robinson to look for? Tumbleweeds

 

The Real Deal

Was at the Central/Robinson game and ran into the PTA Undercover Agent "The Real Deal". He was looking for his girlfriend, flashing her picture around. If she came to my house, I wouldn't wouldn't know weather to offer her a drink or open up a can of dog food. Good Luck Real Deal in finding your Love.

Tumbleweed. Don't think that the HR/CCHS split effected Robinson much since they had enough to field a JV team.

 

Sophmore Camry Wagner is a player to watch. She plays 3rd for Robinson and SS for TB.

 

Robinson was not affected much by the Hickory Ridge opening, they have 3 seniors, Kasey Weddington, Lindsey Yow and Laura Blanton and junior Taylor Twitty has pitched and hit well, she's lost some tough close games. The catcher is junior Katie Calloway and sophomores Katie Zavodney and Camry Wagoner have played well. They have a couple of freshman that get significant playing time as well. They've been competitive against the top teams in the conference and hopefully aren't far away from being a factor at the top of the conference.

 

Lots of talent on this team and looks like they are just starting to gel. I think they will be competitive for the next few years as they do have quite a few freshman, lots of talent on JV plus several of the Harris Road middle school girls which have been very strong in the county will be going there next year as well. Should be an interesting team to keep an eye on.
