FHE trailed Salem 4-1 in the top of the 5th. The home schoolers hit a 2 out grand slam to take the lead 5-4. Sam Shore gets the loss for Salem.

Matt Wood goes 2-3 with 2 doubles and a walk for Salem.

Both teams tuning up for a big week of games so each team used 3 or 4 pitchers and all were outstanding.

Glenn beat Ragsdale 7-6.Walks was a big difference in this game.Ragsdale could not throw strikes.They out hit Glenn 11-7 but when you walk the bases loaded and get a double behind it this will whipe out a lead quickly.Glenn made some errors which helped Ragsdale get the lead but you cannot walk people and win.Just my thoughts.It just seems to me that a walk will score almost everytime.

 

Patrick McMahon (Lefty) and Kurt Semeniuk are both Sophmore's. Should be fun to watch these two guys the next two years!
