Since were having fun, if we keep talking it up we may eventually get Butler to the top, they did make a move this week...........jumped several spots...
just wish they played a schedule as tough as ND...HA HA.. They are undefeated aren't they? Is ND and WJ undefeated?

 

Butler

Don't know why your 2 time,back-back, state champions, who are the only undefeated team in top ten are not sitting on the top spot. No respect . One that matters is last.

 

ND was beaten by West Forsyth HS. WF is undefeated. They play again on next tuesday for #1 spot.

 

WF is undefeated in conf. play, not total games, ND has lost 1 game total, but STILL should be a good game

 

Several of the top 10 teams are undefeated in the conference, but not over all, ONLY 1, BUTLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!But there moving on up...........
Not to discredit any of the other teams, CC, ND, AC, WJ all play strong competition, but they have been beat..........

No disrespect but this tread had nothing to do with any other teams.This should be one heck of a game.There will be standing room only.I look for an error or a walk and a timely hit to decide this one.Lets go ND Knights.

 

HS Softball

This game could be one of the classic games of all-time with two great teams and one of top pitchers ever in NC. Of course ND has pretty good pitching as well. Short game will be key and if ND can get their speed on base, they got a real good chance. Both teams have top quality coaching, two of best at HS ranks, smart battle tested players, and great fans! WOW sure wish I could be there.
Agree with lighting, a mistake could be the difference as I do not think there will be many hits, unless bunts are working.
Have good friends and former players, as well as players on the teams so good luck to both teams.

 

I'm not sure but I think in CC's loss, they were missing a key player due to injury.

 

Yes, but....

It is true that CC was missing Mo Peeler when they played and lost to N. Meck. However....that does not explain, nor should it be used as an excuse for allowing N. Meck freshman pitcher to shut CC down and hold them to exactly zero runs. If I remember correctly, score of this game was 1 to 0, so it wasn't the pitching that let CC down.

Seems like this year that overall, pitching for the top teams has shutdown the bats, and scoring has been extremely limited. Most games have been 1 - 0, 2 - 1, etc. There has been very very few games where much run scoring has been prevalent. This is why playoffs are going to be very intriguing.
