This should be fun. I have a feeling some of these stories will be as good as Lefty's fishing stories...the ball will go further and further.:N1yeeaah:

    Two Shots

Jordan Darnell and Brett Nyenhuis from Ardrey Kell. Brett hit one from the left side at AK that carried over the RF fence into the trees across the street from the field. Jordan hit a shot to straight CF at Myers Park that hit the top of the fence. That fence is 402 feet from homeplate and would have been out of every other SW4A park by 30ft.

    Not this year

But Addision Johnson hit one out at Parkland dead center marked 405 and that ball cleared the fence about 30 feet high and into the woods. I would say about 435 at least.

    Over but interfered with

Tanner Beck nailed one at Parkland. Left center (345) hit the lights (it was still rising not coming down before hitting them). If the pole would have been right a few feet. That ball surly would have been 400 plus.

From the old days. These guys you may not recall.I saw Otis foster hit a ball over the left center field tower at Ernie Shore. I also saw Joey Hackett hit a ball at Parkland That was still going up when it hit the tops of the trees in center field.

seems there are a lot of these shots hit out at Parkland. They have some of that rarified air over there?

    3 from this season

    Not in any particular order.

    1) Levi Michael hit one to left field at Mt. Tabor that had to land 50+ ft behind the fence.

    2) Tyler Hanover hit one well over the indoor hitting facility at North Davidson that was the farthest ball I've ever seen hit to left field in a game there, and I've seen/participated/coached games there for 15+ years.

    3) Hanover hit another last night that cleared the storage shed at North Davidson in left center. I've seen many hit the top of that shed, including Madison Bumgardner last year, but never seen one clear it.

All three of these were legit 400 footers.
