Meca Standings?

    North Meck 9-1
    Hopewell 9-2 (HOP@ NM Fri)
    Robinson 6-5
    Mallard Creek? 4?? 2 wins over vance and west charlotte im assuming
    West Charlotte?? 2 wins over vance im assuming

    Meca Conference Standings

    Well....here is what I know for the current MECA standings:

    Central Cabarrus - 1 loss (to N. Meck)
    N. Meck - 1 loss (to Hopewell)
    Hopewell - 2 losses (both to Central)
    Robinson - 5 losses (locked into #4 seed for playoffs)

    Note: N. Meck plays at Central Cab today. If Central wins today, they will end up being #1 seed out of MECA for playoffs. The game between Hopewell and N. Meck will determine #2 and #3 seed for playoffs, if N. Meck loses to Central. If N. Meck beats Central, and then Hopewell beats N. Meck, there will be a three way tie for MECA conference. Not sure what tie break rules are if that takes place. If there is a 3 way tie for conference, that would mean that Central lost to N. Meck twice; Hopewell lost to Central twice, and N. Meck lost to Hopewell twice.

    Stay tuned. Today's game (N. Meck vs. Central) will decide a lot.

    Final MECA Standings

    Now that all games have been completed, here is how the teams will be seeded for the pending 4A State Playoff run:

    #1 Central Cabarrus
    #2 Hopewell
    #3 N. Meck
    #4 J.M. Robinson

    MECA 6 was an extremely competitive conference this year, and any of these 4 seeds could go deep into the playoffs.
