    Akeem Hood- OF Millbrook H/S

Runs in the 6.7-6.8 range. As a lead off hitter has 2 home runs and 8 triples to go along with 15 stolen bases. Could use some work but definately has what it takes to go somewhere. D2 or D3 caliber, with work he can be a fantastic ball player. Not very big, about 5'7-5'8 about 160 pounds but has an unbelieveable arm for his size.

    From the Hendersonville Times News:

After a lengthy discussion with the Naval Academy's head baseball coach Thursday night, West Henderson senior Josh Moore has decided against going to Annapolis.

Moore, one of the fourth-ranked Falcons' leading hitters, has reopened his recruitment. Athletes accept appointments to the service academies meaning that a binding Letter of Intent is not signed.

The infielder had until the first day of classes to decide against going. Even at this late recruiting date, he won't lack for collegiate options.
