    New realignment for this season

    What about the central bracket? South Granville will represent the Central playoff bracket of 3A baseball this year. We will be idle until the West and East play if off. We will then take a 1 game to 0 lead going into the best of 3 series for the state title.

    I thought you guys knew about this new rule?

    so when will the final brackets be set - East and West? Is tonight the last night games are being played for seeding purposes or are games still scheduled for Wednesday?

    Broughton, not Wakefield

    Broughton no-hit Wakefield last night in a 10-0 rout to eliminate Wakefield from playoff contention. It will be Broughton playing against the Tri-8 #1 seed Apex.

    Can you tell me what Person has got? Lumberton plays them and I expect it to be a good game. Lumberton does not have overwhelming talent. Just a bunch of pitchers that can throw it over the plate, a pretty darn good defense, and timely hitting. Somehow they have managed to win 14 out of the last 15 games with that.
