    South Iredell vs. Bessemer City

    South puts BC away 10-0 in 5 innings. South scored 10 in the 1st inning sending 15 to the plate. Solid game pitching from Kelsey Spangler along with timely hitting. Freshman Kayla Jones showed some good pop in that bat with a base clearing triple today. Showdown will be Thursday afternoon with East Lincoln.

    Does anyone have score for North Lincoln vs. Licolnton? That game weighed a lot for playoff seeding in Southern Piedmont-2A.

    East Lincoln home or away??? Came to watch some, and everybody was long gone. Good Luck to the Vikings Thursday.

    Lincolnton defeated North Lincoln 11-9.
    North took a 7-1 lead into the 3rd ininng. Lady Wolves scored 9 runs in the top of the the 3rd. Taylor Shelton went to the circle in the bottom of the 3rd to get the save. I will post stats later.
    North pitcher Amanda Farbaugh took a hard line drive on the leg.
    (The home plate ump was the biggest joke i've seen this year. NO CORNERS at all! Pitchers from both teams forced to throw the ball fat on the heart of the plate.) Amanda was able to come back later. Glad she was ok.

    Hickory Ridge beat Piedmont 4-2

    Emma did it again with some help from her teammates. Carson had a timely hit and was able to score after Piedmont had tied the score. Lady Bulls added one more on. Kiona Bass had the play of the game to end it by catching a ball up the middle and stepping on second in stride to end the game.

    What in the world happened to Freedom. Maybe I'm missing something but after watching them early in the year I thought they would challenge AHS for the crown. Seems like they weren't the same after the Watauga lose. :disappointed:
