    Riverside 3-Pine Forest 2

    Pine Forest held the lead 1-0 into the bottom of the 6th. A trio of errors allowed Riverside to score 3. Pine Forest tried to engineer a comeback in the 7th, but fell short by 1. Great job by Joe Wellbrock pitching for Pine Forest...kept Riverside off balance for most of the night.

    All 3 pitchers did an excellent job. Lefty from Page had a good move picked off I know at least 2. EB just got in a slump hitting the ball at the wrong time of year. Was a good baseball game to watch.

    Wilkes Central beat Lincolnton in a 2a matchup 4-3. Wilkes Central trailed 3-2 going to the bottom 7 and scored 2 runs with two outs to get the win.
