    Sanderson - K. Wigmore (2-3, dbl, 2 runs), M. Peterson (1-2, rbi, run), C. Wolfe (1-2, dbl), M. Gagnon ( 1-3, 2 rbi's), and E. Brody (1-3).

    After allowing three hits and three runs in the first inning Sanderson's M. Peterson settled down and only allowed 2 more hits and no runs before giving way to E. Brommer in the seventh inning. M. Peterson also knocked in the winning run with his single in the bottom of the sixth inning.

    At least we get you at our place where we have been pretty tough the last four years. Other than that, another mismatch on paper. I suspect the FV bus had a bunch of guys shaking their heads wondering how they possibly lost tonight.

    wow, hate to see either team lose this game. West really surged late this year and made a nice little run. Congrats to Mooresville and represent the NPC.

    But, Watauga is a unique team. They play the best non-conference games they can find for the sole purpose to make their team better. Coach Hardee has always realized wins/losses makes no difference except for conference games, so he schedules accordingly.

    What I believe will separate these teams tonight is Tyler Moore. There is no other pitcher in NC like him. He has more arm angles than Pamela Anderson and has a sneaky fastball to go along with his breaking stuff. Even if he tried, he can't throw a straight pitch...they are all crooked. He has mound presence, maturity and is extremely competitive. Listen, this kid shutdown South Caldwell. Something no one else has been able to do.

    The Pioneers made me proud
