    1st round

Tanner Beck (Parkland HS) took it yard at Piedmont in the first round. I think DJ Little (PKland also) did also, not 100% did not see. Becks was a right center shot.

Trey Lowder hit one for Watauga against East Forsyth that was about halfway up the light pole and still rising when it left. It was absolutely destroyed. We got report at the end of the game that it actually did end up landing but it was a good 100 feet behind the fence.

Ball Watcher...at East Forsyth, if you ever hit it between those lightpole in left field on any given night, it has a chance to leave the park. There is a nice jet stream blowing off of the top of the hill and carries many balls out of the park. Now I'm wondering did that ball land in the street behind the field or did it land in the woods??

No idea? But there was no question off the bat. If the fence was 330 to the gap I would say that ball was 400 plus. But that is just my opinion. What about you? did you see it? I didn't have the best angle so give me your opinion?

Well from seeing balls fly out of there for the last oh 10 years or so, I would say that ball easily made it to the street and either bounced into the woods or landed just in front of the woods. Either way it was a BOMB!!!!...Actually the left fielder told me that it landed at the bottom of the hill...that still a shot!

Matt Markofski,Mooresville's DH , hit a controversial three run homer down the left field line against West Rowan Tuesday night...the HP ump made the call looking directly into the setting sun.The ball appeared to be fair. The Falcon fans :furious3: didn't think so and rode the ump the entire night...
