Not really going anywhere. Just wondering

I was just wondering because our area is a little different then most. But how important is Little League / Jr League in developing players for High School. Is this where the guys get ready or does your area have a different program/feeder program for the High School wantobes. Are you able to actually get and keep quality coaching or are you having to get and train knew guys every year?

My son played rec. ball for 3 years. We them found out about a team -Caldwell Spartans which just took players from the community. I thought this was a good idea so the players could get used to playing with each other. They don't stress winning but fundamentals. All the players played rec. ball together and now play on the same tb team. It as been a blast. All these players will now play on the same middle school team. I think this is a good approach for the players to become familiar with each other.

    How many of them?

Is that a core group of 3-7 players? Or is it the whole team?

Where is the community? How does this represent the community?

Its not local or travel but practice that matters

Several years ago with an older child (back when you had to win regional to go to state and win state to go to national) in travel ball, I remember talking to Ron Polk and Jack Stallings at a clinic about travel.

Their reply was "Does a concert pianist get better by playing at competitive recitals or by practice?"
