Just like to say what a feat!! Apex, Middle Creek and Fuquay all in the 3rd round of playoffs and all from the same conference! Way to go girls. I am proud of all three teams. It's just a shame that the local paper can't have just a little bit of pride in this fact too!! Keep hitting them hard! I'm sure there is a travel team coach who is pretty proud of this also!

Just to let you know, you're not alone. We have 3 teams as well from the MAC conference left in, along with 5 other teams from here in the mtns, and nothing is mentioned in our local paper. Guess they don't work much on the weekends! Good luck this week

    For the girls

In response to " For the girls", I am one of the travel ball coaches that has girls on all 3 teams (Fuquay, Apex and Middle Creek). I am extremely proud of them, as well as the other travel ball players on these teams. These young women are fine examples for showing us how to play the game hard and they do it with class. They are all very deserving of 3rd round games. Ladies, WELL DONE!

I know this should go elsewhere on the board, but I must express how proud I am of another local player, Niki Prier and her J State team. They sent Florida State home and made Alabama earn their trip to Super Regionals.

I agree. It was pretty obvious a parent wrote the article that was in the paper on Saturday. That was terrible.

Yes, it should be a great game. Don't think i'll be in town for that one, but i will be checking in. Both teams have alot of talent on both sides of the ball. Should be worth $5.00!

Was wondering on the outcome of the Conley-Bertie contest, and the Triton-Morehead games from Round 2.
