Absolutely nuts. Mooresville led 4-0 going to the bottom of the 7th but the pitchers lost control and East scored 5 on a grand total of 2 hits to win.

It was a pretty crazy game considering the score. I was telling somebody that it's never over and I think Mooresville thought they had it in the bag. They brought a lot of fans and they were loud when they hit those two home runs. East fans were very loud in the bottom of the 7th obviously when their team came back and won in unlikely fashion. Great atmosphere and congrats to Mooresville on a great season. It was good to see two NPC teams going at it this late in the playoffs.

What an amazing game. A little bit of everything. And then that ending. i was speechless for a few minutes after that one.

I feel awful for the Meadows kid. He really threw a great game and if it wasn't for his effort all season I don't think his team would have had a chance of being in that position.

the little pitcher for E rowan will play in college, I don't care what his height is. Dylan west can swing it. Beaver is a horse who could pitch in college. I can't wait to see Shrive start a game, tough spot for him and Beaver to come into.

The "little pitcher" for East is Justin Roland. He will play in college because he has already committed to UNCC. He will play shortstop there instead of pitch. If were impressed by his pitching, you should see him glove in the field. One of the best in the state.

    Thanks Mooresville Boys...

...for setting the standard for Mooresville Baseball going forward to the future. To the Seniors, you will be sorely missed, and we look forward to hearing from you in the future as I am sure you will return home from time to time. To the returning players, you have to work hard in the offseason in order to finish what you started this year. Good luck with your Legion Seasons and any travel ball that you may play.

    Go Big Blue!!!
