    Sports banquets are happening now, awards are being given out. lets give everyone a chance to see their names in print one more time before summer. Please remember that with only a small amount of awards are given out by your hs every year, someone gets left out, and lets not bash the coaches decission.

    sarah benten - coaches award - freshman

    varsity: tasha carson - most improved player - junior
    defensive player of the year - taylor wolfe - senior
    senior athletic of the year - taylor wolfe - senior
    silver glove award - leslie jonas - senior
    offensive player of the year - taylor jordan - freshman
    freshman athletic of the year - taylor jordan
    all conference selection - taylor jordan

    note: taylor jordan also broke the hunter huss career home run total in her freshman year by hitting 7 dingers - and three years to go!!!!

    In a shocking turn of events, Landon Warren (Senior) got the MVP award. Duh, like there was ever any doubt!

    Becky Davis (Senior) got the 4A (I think that is the coaches) award.

    No other awards were given out...

    Side question... Do most JV teams also give out awards?

    Our Annual Spring & Winner Athletic Sports banquet was held this evening. The following young ladies received honors:

    Sarah Thomas/Jr/All-Academic All-Conference and the Louie Bouie Award (seems to be basically a good job award)
