    Don't come late tonight

    How great is this ?
    - two cross town rivals fight for the western NC crown
    - one head coach used to be an assistant for the other head coach
    - half the players attended the other school for the first two years of high school before the new school opened
    - every regular season game was a dogfight

    Will the student become the master or will the master have some more tricks up his sleeve? Who will be the surprise player? Which of the great upperclassmen will make the game changing plays? Lets deal the cards and see what comes of it !! This is what high school baseball is all about !!

    Ak won the 1st game 5-2. Errors and not capitalizing on opportunities lead to Ak runs and ultimately the win.

    Any stats/wrap-ups/details from the people that went? Unless I missed it somewhere else on TBR, I haven't seen any details.....how was the game?

    The DEFENSE will win or lose the game for one of the teams...sadly I do not want to believe or think it but I am afraid my ole team like last night will swell yup and crack again!? If not, good for them and i ll eat crow but just an "insiders" view and knowledge of the character and make up that I had to work with makes me feel this way! We'll see soon huh?:scatter:
