Player of the Year Candidates

Watched the Providence vs. Ardrey Kell Series = Darnell

I had a chance to go watch both of these games between Ardrey Kell and Providence as well as the North Davidson vs. Ardrey Kell game.

There may be better players out there, but there is no one more valuable to their team than Jordan Darnell.
- Seven outstanding innings against North Davidson on short rest. The gutsiest performance I have seen from a young man in several years. Threw the last inning on willpower as the tank was about empty.
- Hit the three run bomb out against Providence to take all the wind out of their sails and wrap up the West title.
- A team that feeds off his toughness and will to win.

IMHO, If he is not the Most Valuable Player in the state, something is seriously wrong in the selection process and politics has taken over again in baseball.
