    Lexington-Davidson now 0-2 for the season. Conference play starts tonight with a very good Mocksville team visiting Holt-Moffit Field. Gotta improve on the fielding and cut down on the free passes.Still waiting on the Lexington lumber to get warmed up. Congratulations to a good Kernersville team on the win.

    Mocksville is a very good ball club...that spanked us the night before we played Lexington 12-1 in 7 innings.

    Really good game with Mocksville taking an early lead but couldn't hold off a determined Lexington team

    Statesville 4 (10 innings)

    Rowan improves to 1-1 in the league and 3-1 overall. Tanner Brown earned the win in relief of starter Billy Veal. Veal gave up 4 runs in the first two innings but settled down and really pitched well after that. The Statesville starter did likewise and threw like 148 pitches. Can't think of his name. Any win now by this short handed club is a big one for Post 342. Rowan is off for two days now until Friday when they start a three game home stand with Stanly County on Friday, Mooresville on Saturday, and High Point on Sunday.
