What do we expect!!!.....our society allows murderers to get parole! As for me this kid should never be allowed to play for that school again.

And they regularly see their baseball idols charging the mound swinging.

    Been there, seen that happen!!
This boy was younger when he did something similar, but I don't think he'll ever totally live it down. Hopefully this boy will learn a hard lesson and not be allowed to continue. There is no excuse for such violence.

That's why I get so upset when I see professionals disrespect umpires/referees!!!!!

take him to the wood shed...

just another example of parents being too lazy and inconsistent with dicipline these days. IMO the other teamates did the right thing by not fighting back. if it was a school event it would get any student fighting suspended. we dont need our youth in a bench clearing brawl. not sure about other places but if you get suspended here your sports year is over.

    Always two sides......

Side one... If that was mine that threw the cheap shot. I would not waited to get him to the wood shed. He would have got it right then and there.

Side two... If he was the receiver of the cheap shot. There would be no doubt that a mudhole would have been made right then and there.

Wow. That's all i can say. That's rediculous. I mean seriously. What would drive to you to do that. I've been in games where I wanted to hit someone, but I knew darn well I wouldn't ever do it. For solely the fact that my parents and coaches instilled good "baseball ethics" into my system. That kid should never be aloud (if by anyone by his parents) to ever step foot on ANY field again.

If it was my child, he would be that young mans slave. That's just down right rediculous :furious3:

:pyth: lets just say that smiley would've been my kid.

    Parents

This gets back to my comment a few days ago about another player and his on field antics, as well as their fans. Today's kid's, mostly the fault of the parent, who makes their whole life evolve around baseball, softball etc..., are taught that being selfish, I get everything or else, is the right way to grow up. Most of these kids, who play travel ball, if they do not play every inning, move to another team, usually with their daddies coaching.
If I was still coaching High School, this kid would never play for me.
